Above: 1952 Ferrari 500 F1 that took Alberto Acari to his & Ferrari's first Formula One World Championship in 1952. Enzo Ferrari then sold the car to Australia's Tony Gaze, but with a 3 litre engine (not the 2 litre that ran in '52), but on sold the car to Lex Davison who ran the car in the 1956 Australian Grand Prix.

Above & below: James Owen, driving Kim Shearn's Lotus 18 FJ was the innocent victim in Sunday morning's F/Ford-FJ race getting tangled up in a 4-car pile up. James was taken to hospital, but only suffered bruising & was dis-charged the following day. The car will be re-built.
